Will Kansas Governor Set a Precedent?

In my first blog post "The State of the Arts," I lamented about the proposed cuts in arts funding at the state and federal levels. As I read the Los Angeles Times article about Kansas Governor Sam Brownback's elimination of the Kansas Arts Commission, I had to ask myself "Will his decision set a precedent that other states will soon follow?"
